Why does my nearly 3 year old tend to throw major meltdowns upon waking up in the morning. It makes everything so stressful. I have been just leaving her alone to get it all out, which tends to go quick, until the boys try to make her happy in some way and that just makes her even more agitated. Even after I say to them to leave her alone.
Sometimes, it feels like when I give an order, it only applies for that minute, and then the next minute my instructions are void and so they think it becomes alright to proceed with their wrong-doing. I have felt this way for a long time! I remember my oldest throwing these meltdowns when he first awakened every morning at that age.
This morning needs a do -over.
