Part One....

Recent Events around here:

This morning: Zemi climbed out of the (jacuzzi) bathtub and got stuck on the top, she couldn't get down, nor would she stand up. She just froze....with her booty up in the air and her hands and feet on the tiles. and where was I? In the bathroom with her, putting in my contact lenses, which means I didn't see her do it, since I am blind without my corrective lenses...and turned around to find her in that position. Zemi loves to just get in the tub, with no water in it, and play with the tub toys. It serves as a "play pen" while I get dressed. Well, at least until now....
Which brings me to:

Zemi has been climbing! She likes to climb into chairs and onto anything that she can. Like this basket I have under a window. The basket has a lid and she will climb onto it and just sit there looking out the window at the cats or the traffic, or playing with whatever toy she has in her hand. She likes to climb into this child-size chair too, and I even caught her STANDING up in the chair! She climbed onto a coffee table last night and stood up on it. Life is getting busy around herewith me needing to watch her like a hawk and chase her everywhere! She does not like to be still even for a second.

Birthday Party! I threw a sweet little soiree for her yesterday. The family came over and we had a grand time. The theme was black and white with a hint of pink, so everyone wore black and white, or pink, and the table decor was the same, and the food even. Alfredo lasagna, salad with black olives and white feta cheese, dark bread....and wait till you see the cake I made!!
