Yesterday, after church, it was naptime for Zemi. I put her in the crib and almost shut the door..."naptime Zem", I said to her ...I didn't hear anything for a few minutes, which with her is unusal, since she will make a fuss before nodding off. So I checked on her. The door was now open, she was standing up in the crib, with her hands on the railing. Apparently, she had managed to open the door. (the crib is right next to the door) and she was just smiling and looking around (she can see downstairs from her room)..LOL
I put her back down, she stood back up! and again! and again! I had Jason lower her crib mattress....now she went down, couldn't reach the railing, got mad, and fussed. Finally she went to sleep.

That is funny! When Jason was a baby, his crib was right next to the door, too. He always turned on the light switch when he woke up. I could see his room from our bedroom and that was how I knew he was awake when I couldn't hear him! Imagine my mom's surprise when she came to spend the night and slept in his room on the guest bed!
