Payable at 100%
$ 49,421.42 This is the negotiated amount between my insurance and Tampa General Hospital for services rendered regarding my implant and surgery. There's no details on what cost what, but this is a big difference from the original amount billed, which was $73,771.80. I don't have to pay any of this because I already met my deductible for this year with doctor visits leading up to and in preparation for this surgery. In case you are wondering, I have a high deductible plan, so I had to pay $3650 before insurance kicked in. $3650 isn't that much to be able to hear once and for all. 2 hearing aids cost more than $3650.

Isn't it interesting how the insurance companies are able to haggle. Those without are always stuck with the higher of the two amounts!!
