Deanna took piano lessons for a year about 2 years ago. She enjoyed it, but would rather sing and do ballet. Dane took them last year, and really excelled. We didn't start him until after the new year because he had soccer in the Fall and it was just too much for me. At his Recital in May, his teacher said he was her youngest and shortest student but was playing far better than some of her older students who had been taking lessons all year.
He wants to be back in lessons, but we just haven't gotten there yet. He'll go in and sit at the piano once or twice a week, pull out his old book, and just play. He really has a love for the piano, like me. I just wish I could find more time. When I was younger, I relaxed by practicing. Now, when I have time to relax, noise is out of the question because everyone else is sleeping.
Oh, by the way, I loved the cleaning windows idea.

They are so cute. I wish my piano teacher had started me in a childs book first. Slowly but surely I will learn it.
