That cat, Rajah, is our adopted one. First it was Haley's, then she left it behind with Jason's folks, and now I have it. I have always loved cats. He is always coughing up though. Hairballs. I'm thankful it isn't on my carpet but my wood floors, so it's easy to clean up. Isn't he thoughtful? It doesn't happen too often. He goes outside a lot. Let him puke outside.
I absolutely HATE hairballs. That is one reason I don't like cats. That is nasty. Our black cat who wouldn't go outside did that all the time. And he would mostly do it on the carpet. The orange cat stays outside most of the time so I don't mind him too much. He earns his keep in killing mice.
