Aaron says, "Look Mom!" So I turn and look. About 2 inches from my nose is this wiggly, slimy worm. I said, "EWWW! Take it back outside NOW" Aaron is saying he doesn't want the birds to get it. I said he will die if I let him stay inside. So Aaron takes him back outside and a few minutes later he comes back in. I wash his hands. Then he says, "Let me show you something in the garage". I already know something weird is going on, just by the way he says this. I follow him out to the garage and he opens the tool bench drawer. And there he had put the worm. Still saying he doesn't want birds to get him. I scoop that slimy worm up on a stick and put him in the flower bed. I said to Aaron it is too late for birds to get worms now. They get them much earlier in the morning. That seemed to make him happy.
