First: another cute saying by Aaron: "I wish I had 100 hands."
He offered no reason for this.
I went shopping today (another story in itself). At the checkout counter, I had so much to keep track of: my wallet, my bags, my credit card I had taken out, 2 kids, and more, I thought to myself, "Yes, Aaron I wish I had 100 hands too!" HAHAHAHA
Second: if it all possible, NEVER take your kids shopping. It doesn't matter how good of a deal you can get that day, it's not worth the hassle shopping with kids. Even the grocery store. You CAN go without milk for a little bit longer.
After my shopping excursion, I swung by Blockbuster and rented 4 videoes, 3 for the kids. I wanted them to park it for the rest of the day. I'm too tired (and have a headache) to even want to keep up with them anymore today.
And yes, I knew NOT to take them, but Jason went to Gainesville and I have been cooped up in the house for nearly 3 days, I needed to get out. My little excursion served as a good reminder of a hard-earned lesson I learned a few years ago.
Third: My Christmas tree is up! YEAH!
Time to start baking Christmas cookies!
Fourth: just in time for the busy-ness of the season: A broken coffee pot! ARGH! Yep, it's true. There's no way to make coffee to get the day going. Note to self: find a new coffee pot.
