My point exactly on the brevity of life

Today Jason had a biopsy done on his arm. He has a mole that keeps getting bigger and it changed color. He has had it for a while. He finally had it taken off today and it was sent for a biopsy. Doctor sounds concerned. It looks suspicious, and it has looked that way to me for months. His arm hurts now from the incision; he even has stitches. I am worried it may be serious, but it may not be anything but a cyst. Please pray that he will be OK. I am scared. And don't tell anyone about it. No need to worry people until we know what it is, about 10 days wait for the biopsy results.

Talli, I'll be praying. That IS scary, especially for fair-haired people who tend towards skin cancer. But, usually, spots like that can be thoroughly and easily removed. I've had a few done. And I know what you mean about stopping time. I feel that way with my children all the time, and have written several posts about just that issue. My husband will be 40 on the 26th. and I'm 44, but we married late in life and had our last child when I was over 40, so most of our friends who are our age have teenagers or are grandparents already. Children keep you young.
